After The Interview

Keeping them interested

Best Answers: The 201 Most Frequently Asked Interview Question

After the interview, you should send a short thank you letter to refresh the employer's memory of your candidacy and to reaffirm your interest in the position.

Allow the employer five to ten days to contact you after receiving your letter. If you still have not heard anything, you should follow up with a phone call.

Express your continued interest in the firm and in the position. Inquire as to whether any decisions have been made. Ask to be notified about the outcome, regardless of whether it is in your favor.

See our section on Letters for a more detailed discussion.
