Massachusetts - Novell Network User Group (Greater Boston) -- A non-profit corporation run entirely by volunteers. Dedicated to helping members understand, use, and manage computer networks, large and small. Formerly known as The Greater Boston Area Novell Users Group, has expanded their scope and are now in their 12th year of serving network users and administrators in Boston and New England.
Massachusetts - Linux and Unix Group (Boston) -- A non-profit trade organization; their mission is to educate about and advocate for Open Source, Free Software ("free speech" not "free beer"), and Open Systems, such as Linux, Unix, and freely-redistributable software.
New York LAN Association
New York Unix User Group -- Unigroup is the oldest and largest Unix User's Group serving the Greater New York City Regional Area since the early 1980s. It is a not-for-profit, vendor-neutral and member funded volunteer organization. And holds regular and special event meetings throughout the year on technical topics relating to Unix and the Unix User Community.
Pennsylvania - NetWare User Group (Harrisburg) -- The group is a member of NetWare Users International (NUI). The group exists to help administrators, managers and users of networks stay informed of and work with leading edge technology.

Maryland Visual Basic Users Group -- MAVBUG's mission is to provide a forum for local Microsoft Access and Visual Basic users and developers to meet regularly and become better acquainted with each other, learn from each other, and discover useful products and valuable techniques.
New Jersey Enterprise Visual Basic Users Group -- The NJEVBUG is a technical community of individuals interested in the design/development/deployment of enterprise applications, using Microsoft Visual Basic.
New York - C/C++ Users' Group -- The mission of the C/C++ Users Group (CUG) has been focused on low-cost distribution shareware and freeware C/C++ source code. The C/C++ Users Group is an independent organization that is impartial to compiler vendors or platforms.
New York City Visual Basic Developer's Group -- A non-profit group of developers who meet to discuss the issues facing VB development with Access & SQL Server databases.

Pennsylvania - Delphi User Group (Pittsburgh) -- Has been reformed into the Tri-State Delphi Association, which is a non-profit, independent group serving the Western-Pennsylvania, West-Virginia and Eastern-Ohio areas and is dedicated to providing Delphi Developers with a forum for education, networking and exchanging information.
Washington D.C. - Capital District Visual Basic Users Group -- Capital District Visual Basic Users Group CDVBUG is a non-profit users' group whose mission is to foster a community of persons committed to learning and developing professional applications using the Microsoft Visual Basic platform.
Washington D.C. - Visual Basic User Group -- CAVBUG. Meets every second Wednesday of the month. Meetings are held at CRCI. Please see the website for directions and the latest news on upcoming speakers.

Delaware Valley DB2 User Group
Maine'S Oracle User Group -- MSOUG is a forum to share experiences & knowledge of Oracle & the many pieces of its product set. Their mission is to provide a professional environment for the exchange of this Oracle knowledge.
Maryland - Baltimore/Washington DB2 User Group -- BWDB2UG was founded as a "gathering" point for computing professionals within the Baltimore-Washington commuting area to discuss and share ideas on DB2 topics. The group is comprised of DB2 users on all platforms with a common desire to become more proficient in this comprehensive database management technology.

Virginia - DB2 User Group (Richmond) -- RICDUG is a non-profit volunteer user group located in Richmond, Virginia chartered to serve as a forum for the collection, sharing and dissemination of information related to the IBM DB2 Family of Products and other related products within the DB2 user community.

CT - Danbury Computer Society, Inc. -- DACS in its present form originated from several local computer organizations. It welcomes all those interested in computing, be they novices, intermediate or experienced users. To members with special interest, there is probably one or more SIG (Special Interest Group) that will pick your curiosity.
Massachusetts - Computer Society Internet SIG (Boston) -- This Special Interest Group, formerly of the Boston Computer Society, discusses a variety of Internet issues, such as Internet Service Providers, web chat, search engines, Internet protocols, and e-commerce, at the intermediate level.
New York - Westchester PC User Group -- We are a nonprofit group located in Westchester County New York. Our goal is to increase the computer knowledge of our 600 + members. Our General meetings are held once a month. We have over 20 Special Interest Groups, or SIGS, that meet on a regular basis and discuss everything from beginner topics to the latest in programming languages.
New York PC User Group (Central) -- The Central New York Personal Computer Users Group was founded in 1985 by a small group of people who shared a common interest in personal computers. The group at present consists of over 750 members. As in our beginning, the Users Group is comprised of individuals whose level of skill with computing ranges from novice to professional.
New York New Media Association -- NYNMA is a not-for-profit industry association founded in 1994 to support and promote the new media industry in New York. Since then our membership has soared to over 5,200 individuals representing over 1,900 companies.
New York PC Users Group -- NYPC is a non-profit user group run by volunteers that was started in 1983. Our 2,000 members are computer techies, beginners, and most everyone in between.
New York - Mid-Hudson Computers User Group -- Our members' systems run the gamut from Apple to IBM compatible, using a variety of operating systems, at home and in business. We range from novice to expert and from amateur to professional.
New York - Rockland PC User Group -- Alamo PC is a 5,000-member computer organization, run by volunteers. Incorporated in January, 1983 as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, it is chartered to educate all interested members of the public in the use of personal computers.
New York- Long Island Computer Association-- LICA's SIGs are special interest groups. They are devoted to various areas of computing. We have SIGs for Multi-media, Telecommunications (including the Internet), beginners, advanced users, and several devoted to various popular software packages, like Lotus 1-2-3, dBase, and WordPerfect. If you have a specialized interest or just a need to know more about a particular area of computing, we probably have a SIG that will interest you.
